Core Skills Training
The EFT Core Skills Training focuses on the development and refinement of the core skills of the EFT approach. The year long training experience involves four 12 hour sessions scheduled three to four months apart. Each session is designed for a small group of participants (8 - 10) to explore and refine the primary skills used in the EFT model. Each session will include practical instruction, experiential exercises, video examples, and case consultation. Those who complete the four-session Core Skills Training will be credited with 36 hours of EFT consultation and will satisfy the Advanced Externship requirement for Certification as an EFT Therapist. "Hi, Brent - I just listened to your supervision tape and found it incredibly helpful. You really can help me move my skills along. I found your labeling interventions and the reasons for them extremely beneficial and also exactly what I am looking for as I hope to eventually be an EFT supervisor myself."

"I want to take this opportunity to let you know I have really benefitted (and believe my couples will too) from what you and Jim are doing. I see myself going on with this- very excited about this. Anyway, you two are every bit the dynamic duo that is advertised. VERY IMPRESSIVE. And everyone here at the externship is saying it. Thanks so much."
"The externship was wonderful and I believe I now have a deeper understanding of the theory and how to use it with couples. As good as the book is and as helpful as the workbook is, neither fully demonstrate the centrality of the attachment issue to the therapy. They also do not give enough emphasis to the inside/in-between or the parts language like you two did. Thanks again for a great externship experience."
